On Wednesday, February 18, 2026, a meeting on examining scenarios of a U.S. military attack and Iran’s countermeasures was held at the Iran-Eurica Institute, featuring speeches by Dr. Rahman Najafi Sayar (faculty member at the National Defense University) and Dr. Ali Samadzadeh (an expert on military affairs), with the participation of a group of experts from the Iran-Eurica Institute.

During the meeting, issues such as an assessment of a possible U.S. attack against Iran, the capacity and potential role of Islamic resistance groups in the event of a war involving the United States and Israel against Iran, various possible war scenarios, the manner and scale of an attack, the countermeasures available to the Islamic Republic of Iran, the country’s available tools, and its offensive and defensive capabilities for defending against and responding to attacks were discussed, examined, and exchanged views on.
