To this end, the Institute intends to organize an annual conference in cooperation with universities and research centers.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In line with this objective, the first <strong>\u201cNational Conference on Relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Europe\u201d<\/strong> was held in <strong>mid-March 2024<\/strong>, with the participation of a large number of university professors, current and former ambassadors, researchers, and students specializing in European studies.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The articles presented in this volume were selected from among a large number of papers submitted to the conference. These articles examine the <strong>ontological dimensions of Iran-Europe relations<\/strong>, as well as the current state and future prospects of their broader trajectory. They also explore Europe\u2019s status and position within the international system, taking into account variables such as <strong>NATO<\/strong> and the issue of <strong>European strategic autonomy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The role and impact of issue-specific variables such as <strong>sanctions and human rights<\/strong>, third-party actors such as <strong>China and regional countries<\/strong>, as well as certain European policies including <strong>technology export controls<\/strong> and <strong>reducing dependence on fossil fuels <\/strong>on bilateral relations and their future prospects are also examined.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Iran-Eurica Institute, as the only Iranian institute specializing in European affairs including both the European Union and individual European countries seeks to provide a platform for expanding knowledge and sustaining dialogue with Europe.
