He is also an International Senior Research Fellow of the Foreign Military Studies Office (FMSO) of the US Army and a ROK-US Combined Forces Commander Strategic Shaping Board (CSSB) member. His areas of research and work include national security and defense policy, non-proliferation, northeast Asian security, and US-China relations.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: justify;\"><strong>Dr. Aftab Kamal Pasha <\/strong>is the director of the Gulf Studies at the Centre for West Asian Studies and a professor of International Studies at the Jawaharlal Nehru University in India. He has previously been a research fellow at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University of Egypt. His research is focused on West Asian and North African issues and he has extensively published on topics related to India and the Persian Gulf.
