According to some US officials, Herbert Reymond McMaster, National Security Consultant, will leave the White House next month. Earlier, Reuters reported quoting four senior US government officials that McMaster and John Clay, chief executive officer of the White House, would soon withdraw from their post due to increased divisions with Trump. Meanwhile, White House spokeswoman Sara Sanders said Trump still has full confidence in General McMaster. According to NBC, Stephen Began, Ford Motor Company’s president, is one of McMaster’s likely replacement candidates. Began has been a member of the National Security Council since 2001 to 2003.
